Grand facility and a great place to see a game
Gillette Stadium is a huge facility and an amazing spot to catch a football game. The stadium is truly a sight to see – it’s a beast of a venue. Both spots were enjoyable, having been to two New England Patriots games, once sitting in the first level and another time sitting in the third level. The third level is quite high up and makes it a bit challenging to see all the action clearly. No matter where you choose to sit, you’ll be shelling out a hefty sum for tickets. That's just the way it goes with the New England Patriots. In my opinion, the experience is well worth the money.
When it comes to food and beverages, there is an abundance of concession stands offering a variety of options, but unfortunately, there aren't many healthy choices available. The bathrooms are fairly spacious, but it's advisable to use them during less busy times to avoid long lines, like halftime. Grabbing a meal before the game at Patriot Place can help you save some cash. It's best to steer clear of the portable toilets in the parking lots due to hygiene concerns.
Dealing with parking and traffic can be a headache, but it's expected. Managing traffic for a large crowd in one area is no simple feat, so be prepared for delays. The parking fees are quite steep. Opting for the first available parking lot is your best bet as it will likely be the cheapest, around $30. Just keep in mind that you may have to walk a considerable distance to the stadium. The closer you park, the higher the cost. There is a commuter line that runs from South Station (Boston) to Gillette, but the schedule may be limited.
